It’s based on a 7 book series published in the 90’s. I read them in high school and they were great. Always thought a movie version of it would be great, really looking forward to it. Hope it doesn’t disappoint.
One thing – there’s always been a lot of conjecture over what nationality the invaders were. Being Australia, it’s only natural that the assumption was some large asian country from the north, but I always thought that was a cop out. Thought it might be NZ first, but they couldn’t invade a football field. Then it hit me…. it’s those god damn Norwegians!

Read the book a few years ago, thought it was great. Perhaps I should read the series…
